Through the Feed Forward Abuja initiative, Rolan Foundation Abuja provided essential food support to vulnerable communities across Kuje township in Abuja, easing hunger and addressing food insecurity in areas including Chibiri, Kuchiyako, Shetiko, Angwalado, Pasali, Angwagede, and Wuru
Through this initiative, hundreds of vulnerable families received food packs containing essential food items to help address immediate hunger and food insecurity. Beneficiaries included widows, the elderly, youths, and persons living with disabilities, many of whom face daily challenges accessing basic necessities.
During the outreach, the team engaged directly with community members, gaining firsthand insight into the realities of food scarcity and the struggles experienced by vulnerable groups. Despite these challenges, the resilience and warmth shown by the communities reinforced the importance of sustained humanitarian support.
The Feed Forward Abuja initiative reflects the Rolan Foundation’s ongoing commitment to alleviating hunger while standing in solidarity with underserved populations. By providing timely food support and fostering community engagement, we continue to make meaningful impact—one family and one community at a time.
