Free Eye and Medical Outreach – Epe, Ondo State, Nigeria

February 20, 2026

Rolan Foundation, in partnership with CMMB Worldwide, organized a Free Eye and Medical Outreach at Epe Market Square, Ondo State, on Friday, December 20th. The initiative brought essential healthcare directly to the community, providing much-needed support to children, adults, and the elderly who often lack access to medical services.

Over 60% of Nigerians living in rural areas have limited access to primary healthcare, and millions face preventable or treatable vision challenges due to the concentration of eye care specialists in urban centers. During the outreach, residents received comprehensive eye examinations, vision screenings, and free prescription glasses, helping restore sight and improve quality of life.

The outreach also addressed general health needs, offering blood pressure and blood sugar checks, medical consultations, distribution of essential medications, and health education. For many participants, this was their first medical check-up in years, providing an opportunity to identify conditions early and take preventive action.

Through initiatives like this, Rolan Foundation is bridging the healthcare gap in underserved communities, ensuring that access to medical services is not determined by location or income. Every outreach restores health, dignity, and hope, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to creating healthier, empowered communities.
