Rolan Foundation, in partnership with CMMB Worldwide, held the second day of its Free Eye and Medical Outreach in Ondo State on Saturday, December 21st. The program brought vital healthcare directly to the community, reaching children, adults, and elderly residents who often have limited access to medical services.
Millions of Nigerians in rural areas face preventable or untreated health and vision challenges due to the concentration of medical facilities in urban centers. During the outreach, beneficiaries received comprehensive services, including general medical check-ups, eye testing and diagnosis, glasses distribution, blood pressure and blood sugar tests, prescribed medications at no cost, and health education and counseling.
The outreach helped detect conditions early, restore vision, and provide guidance on maintaining long-term health, improving quality of life for both children and adults.
