WHO WE ARE

Rolan Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established with a mandate to create a realistic, effective, and impactful difference in the lives of vulnerable and less-privileged persons living in urban, rural, and hard-to-reach communities in Nigeria.

At Rolan Foundation, we enhance impact, access, quality, and inclusivity through our initiatives in education, health, environmental sustainability, and youth development. We also prioritize partnerships and collaborative efforts to expand our reach. Additionally, we support corporate organizations in achieving their CSR objectives by aligning their contributions with our programs, ensuring their efforts drive meaningful change and benefit students and communities in need.

COMMUNITY HEALTH AND WELLBEING
  • Community Medical Outreach: Regular medical outreach programs, providing essential healthcare services to communities in need.
  • Healthcare Facility Supply Outreach: Distribution of medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities, ensuring they have necessary resources to serve their communities.
EMERGENCY RELIEF INITIATIVE
  • Food Bank: Provision of food supplies to vulnerable populations during emergencies and times of need.
  • Cash Relief Initiatives: Financial assistance programs aimed at providing immediate relief to individuals and families facing crises.
WASH (WATER, SANITATION, AND HYGIENE)
  • Community Cleaning: Community cleaning activities conducted in six communities, promoting environmental cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Waste Management: Initiatives focused on proper waste disposal and management practices within targeted communities.
    Youth Development
YOUTH4SDGS COHORT 1 AND COHORT 2:
  • Training and mentorship programs designed to empower youth with skills and knowledge aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Inclusive Learn Initiative: Programs aimed at improving educational access and quality, particularly for marginalized groups.
  • Pages & Planet: Educational initiatives focused on environmental sustainability education, promoting awareness and action among pupils and students.

OUR IMPACT

With a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Capacity Development, and Welfare, we're not just changing lives; we're shaping futures.

Under the CSR, we implement Educational Support Programs, i.e. distributions of books and writing materials to some public primary schools, distribution of school uniforms, distribution of school sandals, classroom renovation, computer room installation, and library installation projects. Our Energy and Rural Electrification Projects include i.e. street light installation. As well as Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions

  • Implementing a Food Bank to address food insecurity.
  • Engaging in agriculture initiatives to promote sustainable food production.
  • Conducting Medical Outreaches to provide healthcare services to underserved communities.
  • Organizing sensitization campaigns and workshops to raise awareness about health-related issues.
  • Participating in community cleaning activities to improve sanitation.
  • Undertaking borehole projects to enhance access to clean water.
  • Running Pages and Planet program to promote literacy and environmental awareness.
  • Launching the InclusiveLearn Initiative to ensure education is accessible to all.
  • Conducting Back2School initiatives to support students with educational resources.
  • Facilitating the Youth4SDGs program to empower youth in achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Eco Femme project focuses on building women’s capacity in plastic upcycling.
  • Providing trainings and skill gaining programs to equip individuals with valuable skills.
  • Engaging in plastic waste upcycling initiatives to mitigate environmental pollution.
  • Conducting environmental awareness and education campaigns to promote eco-friendly practices.
  • Implementing climate change initiatives to address the challenges of climate change.
