Bridging the Gap in Eye Care Access
Clear vision is essential for a good quality of life, yet many people lack access to proper eye care. To help bridge this gap, Rolan Foundation carried out a medical intervention in Ibadan, providing free eye tests and prescription glasses to those in need.
With the expertise of professional optometrists, beneficiaries received comprehensive eye screenings, personalized diagnoses, and expert recommendations for maintaining healthy vision. Prescription glasses were provided to those with vision impairments, enhancing their daily lives and overall well-being. This initiative highlighted the urgent need for accessible eye care, as many beneficiaries had never undergone an eye test before. By ensuring that good vision is a right, not a privilege, we are empowering individuals to see clearly and lead healthier lives.
